Thomas Kedden

Thomas Kedden. Son of Ralph Kedden of the Isle of Wight gentleman apprenticed to Emanuel Russell of Bennet Hill bookbinder of the Merchant Taylors’ Company 3 October1682. Free, 1 February 1692. Mark entered as smallworker, 20 November 1700. Address Noble Street. “Free Merchant Taylor”. The character of his master’s trade suggests a specialization in silver mounts for prayer-books etc.
