Puiforcat Silver Elysee Pattern Cutlery / Flatware Service For 12.

A very fine Elysee pattern silver cutlery / flatware pattern service for 12 made by Puiforcat of Paris. The pattern was made for the Elysee Palace in Paris in 1947.This early 18th century Bavarian-style service has graced the ceremonial tables of the Presidents of the French Republic at the Élysée Palace since the late 1940s. The delicate chasing on the sterling silver handles requires meticulous hand finishing.

The service comprises :

12 Soup spoons,

12 Table forks,

12 Dessert spoons,

12 Dessert forks /Salad forks-

12 Table knives,

12 Butter knives/Spreaders,

12 Teaspoons,

12 Coffee spoons,

1 Meat carver,

1 Meat fork,

1 Pate/Cheese knife,

Pair of Salad servers,

1 Large serving spoon,

1 Large serving fork

Total, 103 pieces .

The Parisian silversmith is regarded as one of the legendary names in European silver craftsmanship.

Founded in 1820 by the two brothers, Emile and Joseph-Marie Puiforcat, the manufactory soon established itself as a purveyor of silver tableware to various royal households.

Delivery Details

We provide worldwide postage/shipping and everything is fully tracked and insured. Purchases will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery, FedEx, Parcel Force, A-Z couriers; other delivery providers may be used in extenuating circumstances. We deliver to the address provided at the time of purchase but not to PO addresses, as a signature is required upon delivery.

Some countries levy import duties and local taxes. Payment of these is the purchaser’s responsibility and beyond the control of William Walter Antiques Ltd. When the container has reached the destination country, a customs representative will contact you for payment prior to delivery.

Import restrictions are applicable to some destinations, especially the import of products containing materials such as ivory and tortoiseshell. We cannot accept orders requiring shipment to any countries which implement such controls.

All items are checked and photographed prior to packaging, and we aim to dispatch 1-3 days after receiving cleared payment.
