French Antique Silver Napoleonic Period Mustard Pot & Salt Cellars made in c.1815

A fine first standard (.950 pure) mustard pot and pair of salts made in Paris by the noted silversmith, Jean-Pierre Nicolas Bibron.
The set has very decorative feet formed as classical period ladies and the rims have a classical palmette motif.
The salts have cobalt blue inserts cut with a star motif to the underneath. The mustard pot has its blue glass liner (no cut star to underneath).
The matching spoons are made in Paris in c. 1845 by Hippolyte Thomas.
A very stylish and attractive set.
They are all in excellent condition throughout.

Jean-Pierre Nicolas Bibron was a goldsmith at 3, Rue de Harlay until 1809, when he moved to 172 Rue Saint-Jacques. He then moved to 32 Rue Bourg-l’Abbé in 1818.

Purchases will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery, FedEx, Parcel Force, A-Z couriers; other delivery providers may be used in extenuating circumstances. We deliver to the address provided at the time of purchase but not to PO addresses, as a signature is required upon delivery.
Some countries levy import duties and local taxes. Payment of these is the purchaser’s responsibility and beyond the control of William Walter Antiques Ltd. When the container has reached the destination country, a customs representative will contact you for payment prior to delivery.
Import restrictions are applicable to some destinations, especially the import of products containing materials such as ivory and tortoiseshell. We cannot accept orders requiring shipment to any countries which implement such controls.
All items are checked and photographed prior to packaging, and we aim to dispatch 1-3 days after receiving cleared payment.
