Antique Silver George III Teapot made in 1815

A globular-shaped Georgian silver teapot made in the year of the Battle of Waterloo.
The teapot is of circular form and still retains its original handle together with the finial. It is also engraved with a contemporary family crest to one side.
The scroll handle has an exceptional chased decorated terminal of a rose and the hinged lid is well hallmarked underneath.
Capacity is 1100 ml (approximately 2 UK pints).
Dimensions: length 24 cm, width 15.5 cm; weight (including handle and finial) 15 troy oz.
No record of apprenticeship or freedom. His first mark entered as plateworker, 19th January 1809. Address: 28 North Street, City Road.
Second mark, 24th September 1822.
Third mark 4th July 1834. Address: 28, Cowper Street, City Road.

Import restrictions are applicable to some destinations, especially the import of products containing materials such as ivory and tortoiseshell. We cannot accept orders requiring shipment to any countries which implement such controls.
All items are checked and photographed prior to packaging, and we aim to dispatch 1-3 days after receiving cleared payment.
