Description

A rare George III York teapot of circular form with fine hand chased decoration to the body and hand engraving to the spout.

The original hallmarked handle is embellished with acanthus decoration.

The whole pot is in excellent condition and this is a fine opportunity to acquire an excellent York teapot.

Capacity , 1300 ml , 2.75 US pints

Dimensions: height 12 cm, length 25 cm; weight 21 troy oz.

This object incorporates old ivory and has been registered with Defra.
