Antique Silver George III Mustard Pot made in 1781
Out of stock
This lovely early Georgian mustard pot is of drum shape and has beautiful piercing.
It has an elegantly pierced thumbpiece and is engraved with the original owner’s crest and the word “mustard”. Although it is obviously a mustard pot, to have that engraved on an early George III piece is quite unusual as all the engraving is from 1781.
The mustard pot has a cobalt blue liner and both the pot and liner are in excellent condition.
Dimensions: height 7.5 cm, width (handle to front) 8.5 cm, diameter (at top) 5.8 cm
