Antique Silver Charles I Apostle Spoon made in 1635

An antique sterling silver Charles I West Country parcel-gilt silver apostle spoon of St Bartholomew.
Maker’s mark “RW” stamped thrice to the stem and once to the bowl, c. 1635. The saint is silver-gilt and the rear of bowl is prick-engraved with flowers above initials “W.P” over “A.G” over “1657”.
Dimensions: length 18.4 cm; weight 56 gr, 1oz. 16 dwt.
Provenance: Christie’s London, The Paterson Collection, 10 November 1998 lot 75.
Robert Wade II was an English silversmith active mid-17th century.

We deliver to the address provided at the time of purchase but not to PO addresses, as a signature is required upon delivery.

Import restrictions are applicable to some destinations, especially the import of products containing materials such as ivory and tortoiseshell. We cannot accept orders requiring shipment to any countries which implement such controls.
All items are checked and photographed prior to packaging, and we aim to dispatch 1-3 days after receiving cleared payment.
