This splendid antique Commonwealth silver slip-top spoon has a fig shaped bowl and the terminal is engraved with the initials “IM”.
Dimensions: length 17.15 cm; weight 50 grams.
London silversmith and notable spoon maker. Born in 1613 and died in 1683.
Venables completed his apprenticeship to Daniel Cary and became free in 1640.
