Samuel Taylor
Samuel Taylor was the son of Thomas Taylor apprenticed to John Newton (who was a specialist Tea Caddy maker ) in March 1737.
His first mark was entered in May 1744 and he was working at Maiden Lane off Wood Street. He entered a second mark in 1757 and like his master John Newton was a specialist maker of tea caddies and sugar bowls and rarely made anything outside this category.
