Samuel Meriton
Samuel Meriton I, apprenticed to William Wheat in 1731. Free in 1738. First mark 10 May 1739, where he worked at Cary Lane. Second mark 7 July 1746, where he was working at "the acorn in Huggin Alley Wood Street."
Marks are often found on sauce boats, brandy pans, pap boats and other small items of holloware.
