Richard Richardson, whose business was established in 1796, is recorded at Cornwall Works, Sheffield, and at the firm’s London showrooms, 34, Ely Place , Holborn Circus, EC  (both 26.7.1895), where in 1897 it is listed as a silversmith, manufacturer of electroplated wares, spoons, forks, cutlery, etc
