No record of apprenticeship or freedom. Appears as plateworker, opposite St. Clements's Church, Strand,  in the Parl. Report list 1773, as having entered a mark before that date. Process of elimination leaves him or James Wiburd as candidates for the attribution of those closely similar marks. Heal records him as above and London , 1790.
