James Barratt
From Grimwade: James Barratt was the son of James Barratt of Wakefield in the Country of York gardener, apprenticed to William Abdy of Oat Lane, Noble Street Goldsmith 6 May 1772. Freedom unrecorded.
First mark entered as smallworker, 5 October 1801. Address: 7 Staining Lane. Moved to 24, Adelle (alias Addle) Street, 10 August 1802. Second mark, 20 June 1803. Third mark (two sizes) 7 September 1803. Fourth and last mark 29 June 1816.
