Charles Eley
Son of William Eley I apprenticed to his father as silversmith 1 May 1811.
Free, 4 November 1818. First mark entered as plateworker , in partnership with his brothers William and Henry , 14 July 1824. Address, 1 Lovell' s Court, Paternoster Row.
Second mark alone as spoonmaker, 19 January 1825. Address, 2 Lovell Court, Died 15 November 1785, aged seventy-eight and was buried at St Lawrence, Isle of Wight, where his son was vicar ( information , R .J. Malden Esq, great-grandson of the latter).
