Brandimarte
Brandimarte, founded in 1955, is a typical Florentine story, created by Brandimarte Guscelli. Brandimarte gave work to workers, created training and, first, gave work to prisoners.
Following the enlightened craftsmanship of its founder, it adopted two important and innovative revolutions in the silverware field. The first was of a technical nature which consisted in "hammering" the metal, as he had seen gypsies do with copper. The second was that of proposing silver objects in the everyday life of the home, using them commonly and breaking the custom of the silver article as a luxury piece to exhibit.
Brandimarte silvers are hand-forged by over 100 employees, and upon the founder's sudden death in 1994, the company was followed by his sons, Stefano and Giada Guscelli, who have always been present in the company.
