Robert Jones II, son of Robert Jones I, late of Bartholomew Close goldsmith deceased.   Apprenticed Solomon Hougham, 3 October 1787 on payment of £30 he was free on 5 November 1794.

Mark entered as plate worker, 29<sup>th</sup> January 1796. Address 40, Bartholomew Close , where Heal, not distinguishing between father and son , records him till 1800.

A very fine and large George III silver oval mustard pot made in 1796 by Robert Jones II of London. This excellent mustard pot which is larger than usual is of oval barrel shape with a glided interior and fitted with a blue glass liner.
