Son of Samuel Langton late of Southwark  carpenter deceased , apprenticed to John Dingley of the Haberdashers’  Company  2 May 1701. Free, 14<sup>th</sup> May 1708. First mark entered as smallworker, 28 March 1716.Address: Lombard Street. “Free Haberdasher’.

Second mark, 28 October 1729 Address: Twister Alley, Bunhill Row, Bunhill Fields. Third mark, 17 March 1731. Fourth, 26 June 1732. Address Ironmonger Row near ye New Church in Old Street.

Heal records him only ad goldsmith, Wheatsheaf and Crown, Lombard Street, 1709-18.
