A beautiful oval George III antique sterling silver tray with a scroll and shell border.
The tray has cast handles and stands on cast feet.
The centre is engraved with a crest.
Dimensions: from handle to handle 73.66 cm, main body 60.96 x 48.26 cm, interior area 50.8 cm x 35.56 cm
Signed/inscribed: 1815
William Bennett, entered 1st June 1796. Address: 2 Half Moon Passage, Aldersgate Street. Moved to 19 Little Bartholomew Close, 25th September 1800.
His mark appears chiefly on trays and salvers in which he specialised.
Died in February, 1825.

Import restrictions are applicable to some destinations, especially the import of products containing materials such as ivory and tortoiseshell. We cannot accept orders requiring shipment to any countries which implement such controls.
All items are checked and photographed prior to packaging, and we aim to dispatch 1-3 days after receiving cleared payment.
