Robert Jones II, son of Robert Jones I, late of Bartholomew Close goldsmith deceased. Apprenticed Solomon Hougham, 3 October 1787 on payment of £30 he was free on 5 November 1794. Mark entered as plate worker, 29^th January 1796. Address 40, Bartholomew Close , where Heal, not distinguishing between father and son , records him till 1800.

From 1753, the bowl is gently baluster-shaped on a circular foot with a pine cone finial. It is plain with no personal engravings, clearly hallmarked underneath and is correctly part marked on the lid.

This exceptional antique Victorian sterling Britan

This exceptional antique Victorian sterling Britannia silver teapot was used in the Oscar winning film The Favourite.

The pot in the Queen Anne style is of circular pear shaped, plain panelled octagonal form, onto an octagonal foot. The teapot has a panelled swan necked spout. The surface of the teapot is plain and unembellished.

The hinged lid is surmounted by a wooded and silver finial. The wooden handle has a carved scroll style thumbpiece and is mounted on a plain silver socket.

A very fine and rare oval sterling silver Liberty and Company tray with a beautifully hammered surface made in 1934.

The tray stands on four compressed bun feet which are hallmarked. The naturalistic rising shaped border forms the handles. The border was hand made separately and then soldered on to the central section; this border is hallmarked as it was made as a separate piece.
